2023 Born to Be a Star Research Soiree

ADVANCING SCIENCE AND MEDICINE FOR EQUITABLE PATIENT CARE IN DIGESTIVE DISEASE SPACES.

November 4, 2023 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm EDT
BTBAS23

Born to Be a Star Research Soiree raises funds to expand research and advance science and medicine for equitable patient care in digestive disease spaces. We will be announcing our Research Award recipients that evening and sharing why your commitment to health equity will create better health outcomes for us all. We can’t do it alone, we must do it together.

As stated in one of our research reports, “Historically, IBD was thought to be a disease that affects a majority white population, however, IBD prevalence rates continue to rapidly rise globally, with the fastest rates of rise in non-white populations. Despite the changing landscape of IBD prevalence in ethnic minorities, there is a deficiency in data on racial and ethnic variations in IBD phenotypes, presentation, response to therapy and outcomes.”

Join us for a night of Awards & Celebration in honor of moving the health equity needle forward.
