Our mission is to improve the quality of life for BIPOC who are affected by IBD, Digestive Disorders and associated Chronic Illnesses; through Community, Research, Education, and Advocacy.

The Huddle Men’s Group

The Huddle is an empowerment group for men in the COGI community to fellowship; sharing their thoughts on and experiences with IBD and other digestive illnesses. This group is not only open to men who are patients, but care partners, and other family members as well. Previous Huddle discussions include:

  • “Chronic Conditions Only Affect Older Men”
  • Stress & IBD
  • Men’s Health Month
  • “IBD Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Build Muscle or Gain Strength”
  • Myth: “Medication Is a Sign of Weakness”
  • Myth: “Men Don’t Need Doctor Visits”
  • “IBD and Chronic Conditions Don’t Affect Mental Health in Men”
  • IBD and Intimacy
  • Myth: “You Can’t Thrive with IBD”

An opportunity for our community to jump back into fellowshipping and discussing relatable topics!
